A standard ramp is fine for most cars. It is not fine for a lowered sports car, a vehicle with locked wheels, or something heavier than a family SUV. That is what hydraulic beds are for.
Full-down vs. half-down
| Bed type | Use it for |

| Full-down (فل داون) | The bed sits flat on the ground. Sports cars, very low clearance, luxury vehicles. |
| Half-down (نص نزول) | Shallow angle with a winch. Damaged cars, non-rolling vehicles. |
| Low-bed (لوبد) | Heavy vehicles and equipment beyond normal flatbed capacity. |
When to ask for hydraulic
- The car has a low front bumper or body kit.
- Wheels are locked, missing or the steering is damaged.
- The vehicle is heavier than a standard flatbed carries.
- The car is high-value and you want zero ramp contact.
